Connect with the client to understand their vision, and functional needs. Discuss inspiration, objectives, and any specific requirements they have for the project.
In-home Consultation
A 1-hour visit to the client’s home to meet in person, view the space, and take measurements. We use this time to dive deeper into the client’s vision and discuss their inspiration in greater detail.
Process Commencement
We will send a detailed Scope of Work and Contract outlining the client’s needs, project expectations, and an estimate of the total hours required to complete the project.
Design Development
We will get to work in creating a customized designed with layouts, design board, and selecting materials tailored to your style.
Design Presentation
We will showcase the design concept, including color schemes, furniture and finishes.
Revisions
Based on your feedback, we will refine the design to ensure it meets your vision.
Procurement
This is where the ordering of all the selection begins.
Installation
The final stage is where we bring everything to life and complete your beautifully designed space.

Design Specification Package
This service provides a complete design experience for furnishing, styling, and finishing your space. It includes space planning, furniture layouts, material and finish selections, color palettes, and decor sourcing. While MHD does not provide project management for renovations or construction, we do supply all design selections and detailed specifications for your contractor or builder to implement.
E-Design Consultations
A flexible and budget-friendly virtual design option for clients who prefer to take a hands-on approach and manage their own purchasing and implementation. You’ll receive a custom design board and product list — allowing you to bring the vision to life at your own pace.
Styling and Consultations
For clients who already have foundational pieces and need help pulling it all together. This includes:
- Styling and accessorizing existing spaces
- Color consultations
- Finishing touches to refresh a room’s look and feel
